BURBANK, Calif., June 19 (UPI) -- Old school rapper Tone Loc was jailed for a time this weekend after an alleged physical confrontation with a woman in Southern California, police said.

Loc, who recorded the 1980s hits "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," was busted at the Burbank apartment of a woman with whom he had a child.

The Web site TMZ.com said Sunday the rapper, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was arrested without incident Saturday afternoon on a charge of felony domestic violence and ordered held on $50,000 bail.

Details on the alleged confrontation and the identity of the woman were not immediately available.
