LONDON, June 17 (UPI) -- The producers of "Love Never Dies" say the West End musical will close in August after 18 months of performances.
The show is a sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running hit "The Phantom of the Opera." It stars Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo.
The BBC said the curtain will come down on "Love" this summer because of low ticket sales and mixed reviews from critics.
A more popular version of the show staged in Australia is to transfer to Broadway after its run is completed, the British broadcaster said.
