Food poisoning fells 3 at Playboy Jazz

HOLLYWOOD, June 12 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police and firefighters suspect food poisoning made three fans sick at Saturday night's Playboy Jazz Festival.

Paramedics were originally dispatched to the Hollywood Bowl for reported drug overdoses; however, the trouble was later considered to be bad food, police at the LAPD Hollywood station told the Los Angeles Times.

The newspaper said the three ailing aficionados were hailed off to a hospital for treatment. Two were described in moderate condition, while a third was transported in critical condition.

Hollywood Bowl officials had no immediate comment on the incident.
