Fans rock, wilt at Bonnaroo music fest

MANCHESTER, Tenn., June 12 (UPI) -- Organizers of the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee counted more than 1,000 cases of heat-related health problems during the four-day event.

The concerts near Manchester kicked off Thursday night and ran through Sunday evening despite the sultry early summer weather.

Officials told WSMV-TV, Nashville, a Pennsylvania woman died of unknown causes on Thursday night.

Police issued more than 300 citations and made 45 arrests, most for drug-related offenses.

The varied all-star lineup of bands included the Black Keys, Lil Wayne, Loretta Lynn and Buffalo Springfield. Detroit rapper Eminem took the spotlight Saturday night and was, The Detroit News said, in top form with a solid 90-minute set that marked his first live performance of the year.
