NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) -- "Alpocalypse," the 13th studio album by U.S. comic recording-artist "Weird Al" Yankovic, is set for release next month, Jive Records said Monday.
The CD is to go on sale June 21. It is Yankovic's first full studio release since his 2006 album, "Straight Outta Lynwood," which featured the hit, "White & Nerdy."
"Alpocalypse" includes the Lady Gaga parody, "Perform This Way," which generated 2 million YouTube hits within two days of its release. Yankovic is shooting a video for the song in Los Angeles now, his record label said.
The singer also recently announced Spring/Summer tour dates that kick off May 19 at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, N.J.
