LAS VEGAS, April 6 (UPI) -- Rocker Vince Neil has been charged with battery and disorderly conduct for allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend in Las Vegas, court records said.

The Motley Crue front man was accused of poking 39-year-old Alicia Jacobs in the shoulder and harassing her friends March 24 during a comedy show at the Shimmer Cabaret in the Las Vegas Hilton.

The Las Vegas Sun reported Neil is scheduled to appear before a judge May 2 in Las Vegas Justice Court to enter his plea in the matter.

The musician and former "Skating with the Stars" contestant served 10 days in the Clark County Detention Center in February on an unrelated driving under the influence charge, the Sun noted.
