Swift, Lambert win big at ACM Awards

LAS VEGAS, April 4 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift nabbed the top prize of Entertainer of the Year at the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards show in Las Vegas.

The event aired live on CBS Sunday night from the MGM Grand hotel and casino.

Miranda Lambert picked up her second consecutive statuette in the Female Vocalist of the Year category, while Brad Paisley won the Male Vocalist of the Year honor for the fifth year running.

Lambert also went home with the trophies for Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me."

Sugarland won the statuette for Vocal Duo of the Year, while Lady Antebellum earned the Vocal Group of the Year title, as well as the trophy for Album of the Year for "Need You Now."

The Band Perry was declared New Artist of the Year and New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.
