Motorhead frontman rocks in documentary

LOS ANGELES, March 14 (UPI) -- British-born rocker Lemmy Kilmister says the best part of a new documentary about his life is that he can watch it.

"Well, it's not too embarrassing," says the Motor head frontman, who lives in Los Angeles. "I didn't have to leave the (expletive) theater before the lights came on, so it's OK."

The DVD edition of "Lemmy: 49% Motherf**Ker, 51% Son of a Bitch" debuted atop three Billboard music video charts when it was released in February. Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski's film is a frank and unapologetic look at the rocker's life and personality, including a disarming fetish for collecting Nazi World War II memorabilia Kilmister defends as genuine historical curiosity.

"I don't collect any of the ideology, believe me," he says. "I've got friends of all colors and religious persuasions. I ain't got a racist bone in my body."

Alongside the film, Motorhead's new album, "The World is Yours," hit No. 1 on CMJ's Loud Rock chart.
