LOS ANGELES, March 10 (UPI) -- U.S. singer-actor Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel Thursday confirmed they have ended their four-year relationship.

"Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways," representatives for Timberlake and Biel said in a joint statement. "The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other."

"It was mutual," one source told UsMagazine.com. "Jessica is doing well."

Timberlake co-starred in the Best Picture Oscar nominee "The Social Network."

Biel's film credits include "The A-Team," "Easy Virtue," "Blade: Trinity," and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." She also was a cast member of TV's "7th Heaven."
