CSO's Riccardo Muti hospitalized

CHICAGO, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Riccardo Muti, the 69-year-old music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, is in stable condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the CSO said.

Although Muti collapsed during rehearsal Thursday afternoon and is undergoing tests to determine the reason why, The Chicago Sun-Times quoted CSO President Deborah Rutter as saying he is already "asking for his scores" and talking about returning to work "as soon as possible."
