LONDON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- British supermodel Kate Moss is engaged to marry her longtime beau, The Kills rocker Jamie Hince, The Sun said Thursday.

Hince proposed to Moss in bed Tuesday night, offering her a vintage 1920s engagement ring, which she accepted. The couple, who have been dating since 2007, have already set a wedding date of July 2, the newspaper said.

"Kate is delighted. Jamie is the man for her -- they are soul mates. She just wanted to make him work for her hand in marriage," an unnamed source told The Sun. "He has been badgering her to get married, but she wanted to take her time. Over the last year, they have grown so close, they are like man and wife. They're going to have the mother of all weddings. It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown -- and she's thrown a few."
