NASHVILLE, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban announced Monday their second daughter was born last month via surrogate in Nashville.

People.com reported Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, the biological child of the film star and country music artist, was born Dec. 28 at The Women's Hospital at Centennial.

Kidman, 43, gave birth to their daughter Sunday Rose in 2008. She also has two adopted teen children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.

"Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the Kidman-Urban family said in a statement issued to People.com Monday. "No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."
