LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Kellie Pickler's publicist says the U.S. country music star has married her longtime beau Kyle Jacobs.

The couple dated for about two years before exchanging vows last Saturday in a "small, intimate ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean," her representative told People.com Tuesday.

No other details regarding the wedding were immediately reported.

Pickler was a contestant on TV's "American Idol." Jacobs is a songwriter.
