Teen solves centuries-old math problem


NEW YORK, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- The cast of the Broadway musical "American Idiot" and teen singer Greyson Chance will perform on "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly," NBC said.
The show is to be taped Friday in New York's Times Square.
Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams are also to make appearances on the program, which will feature performances by Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and My Chemical Romance, the network said Monday.
The 2-hour special also will include interviews with new "Saturday Night Live" cast member Jay Pharoah, Internet celebrity Antoine Dodson, and U2's Bono and The Edge.
