SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Julie Andrews, Dolly Parton and the Ramones are to be recognized with Lifetime Achievement Grammys at an upcoming ceremony in Los Angeles.

The Recording Academy said Roy Haynes, Julliard String Quartet, The Kingston Trio and George Beverly Shea will also receive Lifetime Achievement awards at a special invitation-only ceremony to be held Feb. 12.

A formal acknowledgment of the presentation of the prizes for career excellence will be made as well during the 53rd annual Grammy Awards telecast, which will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles Feb. 13, the Academy said Wednesday.
