Tambor to co-star in 'La Cage'

NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Jeffrey Tambor is to make his Broadway musical debut in the revival of "La Cage Aux Folles," the show's producers said in New York Wednesday.

Tambor is best known for his work on TV's "Entourage," "Arrested Development," "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Three's Company." He made his Broadway debut in 1976 in the comedy "Sly Fox," appearing opposite George C. Scott and directed by Arthur Penn.

He is to play Georges opposite four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin in the musical "La Cage."

Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge, the show's current stars, will play their final performance Feb. 13.
