

PARIS, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has been named a global brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, the beauty-product company announced Monday.
Lopez, who signed on as a judge for the new season of "American Idol," also said recently she is creating a line of clothes and accessories for Kohl's department stores, and will serve as a celebrity spokeswoman for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
"We are more than excited to announce this new partnership with the sublime, iconic and multitalented Jennifer Lopez," Cyril Chapuy, global brand president of L'Oreal Paris, said in a statement Monday. "Women everywhere admire not only Jennifer's beauty but also her charisma and her commitment. We are honored to welcome her to our amazing roster of spokespeople that represents in all its diversity, the beauty of today's woman. Jennifer will be the face of upcoming product innovations in makeup and haircare, as first campaigns."
