P!nk confirms pregnancy

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- U.S. rocker P!nk confirmed on Wednesday's edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she is pregnant with her first child.

The 31-year-old singer has been married to motocross racer Carey Hart since 2006. They separated in 2008 but reconciled a short time later.

P!nk admitted on "Ellen" she's "glowing" because "I'm eating for two these days," UsMagazine.com reported.

She also told DeGeneres she was initially "really nervous" about discussing her condition in public.

"I have had a miscarriage before, but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you," the recording star said.

She went on to add the pregnancy was a planned one.

"I worked for it ... . It was not an 'oops,'" UsMagazine.com quoted her as saying.
