CLEVELAND, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Canadian pop star Justin Bieber confirmed via Twitter Friday he hurt his knee during a concert in Cleveland.

"Busted my knee last night in the middle of the show," People.com quoted the 16-year-old singer as tweeting. "Not fun. Finished the show with a sweet limp."

He followed up later in the day stating in a message his mother is looking out for him.

"Knee is swollen today but all good. Spending quality time with @studiomama," Bieber said.
