LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Eminem, Enrique Iglesias, Michael Buble, Tim McGraw and Usher were nominated for the People's Choice Award for favorite male artist in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Nominated in the female artist category are Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, P!nk and Taylor Swift.

In the running for favorite song are "Airplanes" by B.o.B, featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore; "California Gurls" by Katy Perry featuring Snoop Dogg; "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem featuring Rihanna; "OMG" by Usher featuring Will.i.am; and "Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce.

Competing for the title of favorite rock band are Daughtry, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Nickelback and Paramore.

Vying for the favorite breakout artist honor are B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha and Selena Gomez & the Scene.

Shortlisted for favorite pop artist are Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, P!nk and Rihanna.

The nominees for favorite country artist are Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift.

Up for the favorite R&B artist prize are Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo and Usher.

Nominated for the favorite hip-hop artist award are Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg.

Fans are invited to vote for the awards at http://www.peopleschoice.com.

Winners will be announced during CBS's live broadcast of the People's Choice Awards 2011 ceremony at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live on Jan. 5.
