LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Michael Jackson's mother has unveiled what she calls an unreleased song, but it's being dismissed as a remix.

Katherine Jackson told TMZ.com Friday she has posted a track called "Opis None" at her JacksonSecretVault Web site.

But Showbiz411.com said Saturday the piece is merely a remix of "Destiny," a1978 single by the Jacksons.

"Destiny" is credited on BMI's site to Michael and his brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie. The original recording is owned by Sony, not by Katherine Jackson, Showbiz411 said.

Howard Mann, Katherine's partner in the Secret Vault, told TMZ, "In an effort to overcome the confusion as to the authenticity of the track the estate has recently released, we want to give an actual authentic Michael Jackson track to the world ... for free."

Sony is releasing an album called "Michael" Dec. 14.

Showbiz411 says the Secret Vault collection is remixes, outtakes and video versions of existing music.
