The single is Jackson's first solo release since the 1989 release of his album, "Be the One."

Jackson said he co-wrote and produced his latest track with British songwriter and producer Steve DuBerry.

The dance tune features an excerpt from a speech Michael gave in 2002, in which he says: "Together we can change the world, / Together we can help to stop racism. / Together we can help to stop prejudice. / We can help the world live without fear."

Jackson is scheduled to appear on TV's "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Thursday to promote the single.
