LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Jackie Jackson, brother of late pop icon Michael Jackson and former member of the Jackson 5, has recorded a new single called "We Know What's Going On."
Released through his label, Siggy Music, the record was made available Wednesday on iTunes.
The single is Jackson's first solo release since the 1989 release of his album, "Be the One."
Jackson said he co-wrote and produced his latest track with British songwriter and producer Steve DuBerry.
The dance tune features an excerpt from a speech Michael gave in 2002, in which he says: "Together we can change the world, / Together we can help to stop racism. / Together we can help to stop prejudice. / We can help the world live without fear."
Jackson is scheduled to appear on TV's "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Thursday to promote the single.
