LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Rapper T.I. debuted his new track, "Get Back Up" featuring Chris Brown, hours after he was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his probation.

"I'm only human, y'all. … When they push you down, you got to get back up," T.I. says in the new single, MTV News reported.

The song dropped Friday, the same day T.I. was sentenced in an Atlanta courtroom by Judge Charles Parnell to serve time for violating his probation in September. He was charged with possessing ecstasy and has two weeks to turn himself in.

"I admit, yeah, I done some dumb sh--. … Disappointed everybody, I know/ Try not to hold that against me, though/ My road to redemption has no GPS/ So guess time must be invested for this to be manifested/

"Yes, it's hard living life in the spotlight/ Trying to dodge the haters the same time as the cop light/ The Bible says let he without sin cast the stone first/ The sinners are the ones that judge him, who was wrong first?" T.I. asks in "Get Back Up."
