Bruno Mars arrested in Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession after security at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas allegedly saw him with drugs.

Las Vegas Metro Police Sgt. John Sheahan confirmed Mars's Sunday morning arrest to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, but said he didn't know what type of drugs Mars is accused of possessing in a bathroom at the Hard Rock after he performed on stage.

No other details regarding Mars's arrest were immediately available.

Mars is best known for his work on the songs "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B, "Billionaire by Travie McCoy and "Right Round" by Flo Rida.
