GLASGOW, Scotland, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Scottish singer Susan Boyle says singing for Pope Benedict at a papal mass in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park has been a dream come true.

The New York Daily News said Boyle, a "Britain's Got Talent" finalist and practicing Catholic, performed for the pope Thursday.

The Daily News quoted Boyle as saying her dream of singing for the pope "has come true at last."

About 65,000 people turned out for the mass, during which Boyle sang "I Dreamed a Dream," "How Great Thou Art" and "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace," CBS News reported.
