Will.i.am performs new song on 'Sesame'

NEW YORK, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Recording star Will.i.am has taped an original song for an upcoming episode of the U.S. preschool television program "Sesame Street," the show's producers said.

The 41st season of the iconic series is set to premiere Sept. 27 on PBS Kids.

Starting Tuesday, fans can log onto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyVzjoj96vs to watch a video of Will.i.am performing his "Sesame Street" original song, "What I Am."

The Black Eyed Peas front man is scheduled to appear on the Sept. 28 episode called "The Happy Scientists," which also features comedian Wanda Sykes.
