WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Offering condolences, U.S. celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson said nothing she could do would alter the fact that her dog allegedly fatally attacked another dog.

"There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing," Ronson posted on her Twitter page Monday after her pet bulldog, Cadillac, reportedly attacked a neighbor's Maltese, which later died from the injuries, E! Online reported.

"I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am," Ronson wrote.

The incident occurred near the celebrity DJ's West Hollywood, Calif., apartment building. TMZ.com reported someone called emergency services.

E! Online said animal control officials were at the scene but left without Ronson's dog.
