LOS ANGELES, July 30 (UPI) -- Jackie Jackson is compiling some of his brother Michael's previously unreleased recordings for a new album, the late U.S. pop icon's estate said Friday.

CNN said Rodney Jerkins, who co-produced Michael Jackson's 2001 album "Invincible," has been working with Jackie Jackson and Sony to get the CD ready for release this fall.

Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles at age 50. Officials determined the cause of his death to be lethal amounts of the anesthesia propofol and sedatives.

His personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is awaiting trial on a charge of involuntary manslaughter for allegedly administering the drugs that killed Jackson.
