DUXBURY, Mass., July 16 (UPI) -- Joe Perry's publicist says the rocker was treated for minor injuries received when a car hit him as he was riding his motorcycle near his Massachusetts home.
Rolling Stone said the Aerosmith guitarist
was rear-ended Thursday by a 62-year-old woman driving a Chevy Malibu on Route 44.
The other driver, Linda O'Brien, was charged with following too closely, while Perry was admitted to Morton Hospital and Medical Center where he was treated for minor injuries and quickly released, the magazine said.
"Joe is home and he's fine. All's well and we're all grateful," the band's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, told the Boston Globe.
