NEW YORK, July 13 (UPI) -- Performances of Broadway's "A Little Night Music" are to resume after a brief break with Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch now leading the cast.

Peters and Stritch are taking over for the show's previous stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, who played their last performance June 20.

Performances are scheduled to resume Tuesday at Manhattan's Walter Kerr Theatre, the show's representatives said.

The revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's classic musical was directed by Tony Award-winner Trevor Nunn. It co-stars Alexander Hanson, Aaron Lazar, Erin Davie, Leigh Ann Larkin, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka and Ramona Mallory.
