NEW YORK, July 9 (UPI) -- U.S. recording star Usher is following up his album "Raymond V. Raymond" with "Versus," a collection of eight new songs, Jive Records said.

The set is to drop Aug. 24.

On that day, Usher fans will also have the opportunity to purchase "Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition,)" which will contain all songs from "Raymond V. Raymond," as well as "Versus," the label said.

Usher is slated to perform concerts this summer in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Macau. The singer is also booked to sing at Wukesong Arena in Beijing, where he will be joined by Asia's top R&B star, Wang Leehom, for a joint performance, Jive Records said.
