LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) -- John Mayer's Web site says the indie rocker will miss a string of performances in Europe because he is sick.
However, the posting about the cancellation of the Monday concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, and other upcoming shows in Europe provided no details regarding what is ailing the Grammy Award-winning musician.
"Regrettably, the illness has caused his remaining European shows scheduled through this week to be canceled as well -- Amsterdam (Netherlands), Madrid and Manchester (England)," the Web site said Tuesday. "Ticket holders should apply for refund from point of purchase. Mayer is returning home to the (United) States and a full recovery is expected under a doctor's supervision."
