New Miley Cyrus CD on its way

BURBANK, Calif., April 26 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star and actress Miley Cyrus's next album "Can't Be Tamed" is set for release in June, Hollywood Records announced Monday.

"Can't Be Tamed," the first single off the CD, is to debut on radio May 3 ahead of the album's June 22 release.

The title track will first be heard, however, on MySpace Music April 30 at 12 p.m. EDT/ 9 a.m. PDT. It will be available as a digital single for sale on iTunes May 18.

Cyrus, 17, has several high-profile appearances lined up this spring, including Rock in Rio dates in Lisbon May 29 and Madrid June 6; "Live! with Regis & Kelly" June 18; and the Much Music Video Awards June 20.

The singer can also be seen on the hit Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," which is currently in production on its fourth season. She recently starred in the big-screen drama, "The Last Song," as well.
