LOS ANGELES, April 20 (UPI) -- British rocker Peter Frampton is to follow up his 2006 instrumental album "Fingerprints" with the CD "Thank You Mr. Churchill," his record label said.

The 11-song "Churchill," which was recorded at Frampton's home studio in Cincinnati, is due for release April 27. Universal Music Enterprises described it as the musician's "most personal collection to date."

"This album is very autobiographical," Frampton said in a statement Tuesday. "It starts with my birth, which I thank Mr. Churchill for bringing my father back from the Second World War."

Frampton is scheduled to perform this summer on a co-headlining tour with YES.
