INDIO, Calif., April 19 (UPI) -- Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard was restrained by police at California's Coachella Music Festival after he became angered at a paparazzo, E! News reported.

E! News said the "True Blue" star was photographed being held back by a police officer after a verbal confrontation with a photographer who was allegedly snapping pictures of him with his rumored girlfriend, actress Kate Bosworth.

No blows were exchanged and no arrests were made regarding the alleged incident at the weekend music festival in Indio, E! News noted.
