LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- Country music superstar Alan Jackson has gone Hollywood with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Los Angeles Times reports.

After the star ceremony Friday, Jackson and his eight-piece band entertained several dozen fans with a rare club concert at the Hotel Cafe, the Times said.

Most the fans attending the 21-song concert were winners of radio station contests from Washington, Arizona, West Virginia and Georgia, among other states, the Times said.

"I've been to a lot of concerts in the last year," Cindi Gatewood, 33, of Corona, Calif., told the Times, "but that's got to be the best show I've ever seen. He just connects so well."

Jackson released his latest album, "Freight Train," two weeks ago.
