Gaga, Green Day join Lollapalooza lineup

CHICAGO, April 7 (UPI) -- Soundgarden, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and The Strokes have been booked for this summer's Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, organizers said.

Also on the bill for the Aug. 6-8 event in Grant Park are Phoenix, Social Distortion, MGMT, Jimmy Cliff,

Hot Chip and The Black Keys, it was announced this week on the festival's Web site.

The National, Spoon, Devo, Cypress Hill, Cut Copy, The New Pornographers, Erykah Badu, Slightly Stoopid, Grizzly Bear, Gogol Bordello, Chromeo, Wolfmother, Yeasayer, X Japan, MUTEMATH, Metric, Dirty Projectors, Jamie Lidell, AFI, Mavis Staples, Matt & Kim, The xx, Drive-By Truckers, Blues Traveler, and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are expected to perform, as well.
