"We've never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level. Visually and sonically it's going to be a big step up from the last time. We just keep growing and this time it is a massive production that I cannot wait for," Rihanna said in a recent interview with AOL.

The singer is set to start her sold-out spring European tour April 16 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Before heading overseas, she will perform Wednesday on FOX's "American Idol."

Rihanna's "Last Girl on Earth" tour is expected to make 25 stops at a mix of amphitheaters and arenas throughout North America this summer. The series is to start July 2 at the White River Amphitheater in Seattle and is scheduled to conclude Aug. 25 at the United Center in Chicago.
