'Cheers' co-stars to announce theater nods

NEW YORK, March 24 (UPI) -- Former "Cheers" co-stars Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth are to announce the nominations for the upcoming 76th annual Drama League Awards in New York.

Grammer and Neuwirth played the iconic roles of snooty married doctors Frasier and Lilith Crane on the sitcom "Cheers," as well as its spin-off "Frasier."

Grammer is scheduled to star in the Broadway revival of "La Cage aux Folles" later this spring, while Neuwirth can now be seen in the new musical "The Addams Family."

The pair is to reunite to read the nominations for this year's Drama League Awards at a press conference at

Sardi's Restaurant in Manhattan April 20, the Drama League said Tuesday.

Winners are to be announced at a luncheon ceremony May 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.
