Teen solves centuries-old math problem
NEW YORK, March 21 (UPI) -- Lady Gaga alleges in a New York lawsuit her former producer, who filed a suit against the singer, once forced her into an unlawful contract.
The New York Post said Saturday that Lady Gaga filed the Manhattan Supreme Court suit against producer Robert Fusari after Fusari filed a $30 million suit against the "Poker Face" singer's companies.
Fusari alleged in his suit he served as a mentor to Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Germanotta, only to miss out on the profits of the singer's great success.
Germanotta, 23, alleges in her suit her contract with Fusari should be deemed null and void because she was induced into the agreement.
The agreement between the two sides would allow Fusari to collect producer fees as well as nearly 20 percent of earnings from Germanotta's first four albums, the report said.
The Post said Germanotta's suit cites employee protection laws intended to protect workers from "predatory and financial abusive practices by employment agencies."
