NEW YORK, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Jay-Z has been booked to perform with Rihanna during "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" special in New York, the network said Tuesday.

The duo will once again team up on their Grammy Award-winning song "Umbrella," as well as their hit "Run This Town," which is up for two Grammy Awards this year.

In addition to musical performances by Green Day, Jay-Z and Rihanna, viewers will also see the first video of the decade with the exclusive world premiere of Jay-Z's clip, "On to the Next One" from "The Blueprint 3" album.

The two-hour New Year's special is to air live Dec. 31, beginning in prime time at 10 p.m. EST.

"The real star of any New Year's Eve show is New York City and Jay-Z is New York," Daly said in a statement. "Green Day and Rihanna were already an impressive line-up and now with the addition of Jay-Z, it's our most exciting line-up yet."
