SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 18 (UPI) -- The top four songs of the year in the United States were performed by Interscope Records acts, the label said.

Billboard's 2009 Hot 100 Songs chart listed "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas as No. 1, "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga as No. 2, "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga featuring Colby O'Donis as No. 3 and "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas as No. 4.

"When great artists and great songs come together the results can be amazing," Brenda Romano, president of promotion for Interscope Geffen A&M, said in a statement Wednesday. "Congratulations to the entire promotion department for their unbelievable success this year, and to everyone at Interscope; they all played an important role and were critical in creating this moment in history. We're tremendously proud of having achieved what no other record label has ever done -- and we look forward to continuing that level of success with our artists in the future."

Coming in at No. 5 on the 2009 Hot 100 Songs was "Love Story" by Taylor Swift, followed by "Right Round" by Flo Rida at No. 6, "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz at No. 7, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" at No. 8, "Heartless" by Kanye West at No. 9 and "Gives You Hell" by the All-American Rejects at No. 10.
