UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Nicole Scherzinger, a member of the U.S. singing group Pussycat Dolls, has been added as the third judge on "The Sing-Off," NBC said Wednesday.
The four-night a cappella singing competition series is to premiere Dec. 14.
Recording artist Nick Lachey will serve as host on the show, while singer Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman have signed on as judges.
Eight a cappella groups will compete in the competition for a $100,000 prize and an Epic Records/Sony Music recording contract, NBC said.
