GLASGOW, Scotland, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Susan Boyle returned to her Scotland home after a successful but nerve-wracking promotional stop in New York, authorities said.
Boyle appeared relaxed and cheerful wearing a polka dot dressing gown as she waved to fans from her house near Glasgow, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.
Boyle was in America promoting her album "I Dreamed A Dream," which is rising quickly up the British charts, the Mail reported.
The singer delivered a note-perfect performance on the Today Show this week, after which she broke down in tears and began sucking her thumb, the Mail said.
The incident has renewed concern for her well-being. Boyle, who had learning difficulties as a child, checked into an English rehabilitation center called The Priory following her appearance on "Britain's Got Talent."
Boyle's spokesperson tamped down the concern.
"She is definitely not finding it overwhelming or stressful. She loves the travel. She wants to do a lot more of it. She is enjoying herself. She has realized a dream. She is just so happy."
