Mother said Josh Powell threatened her
LONDON, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Robbie Williams' mother has confirmed her British pop star son is engaged to U.S. actress Ayda Field.
"I'm very excited. I'm really pleased," Jan Williams told the BBC about her 35-year-old son's engagement. "They've been together for nearly three years, so it's about time. She's a great mate, as well as a lover. She's got all the qualities that he needs in a girl. It's a lovely match."
Field, 30, has starred in the U.S. television shows "Days of Our Lives," "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and "Back to You."
