NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- North Carolina rockers The Avett Brothers have lined up two dozen spring U.S. tour dates, Columbia Records announced.
"On the heels of an extremely successful 2009 year with their critically acclaimed Rick Rubin-produced album 'I and Love and You,' and an extensive electrifying U.S. tour, The Avett Brothers gear up to remind fans just how powerful a musical force this quartet is," the record label said in a release.
The spring tour is to begin Feb. 24 in Athens, Ohio, and to end in Cumberland, Md., May 28.
The Avett Brothers recently taped a special performance for PBS's Austin City Limits music series. It is to air Jan. 23.
