NEW YORK, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- The Jonas Brothers said in a recent online posting the U.S. pop trio has no plans to split up despite a new solo album from its youngest member, Nick Jonas.
Joe and Kevin Jonas wrote on a MySpace blog post this week the "A Little Bit Longer" trio "is stronger than its' ever been," Billboard.com reported Friday.
"We are so proud of our brother Nick," the two elder Jonas brothers said in the "We Are Not Breaking Up" post. "We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives ... . 'A three chord strand is not easily broken,' and one thing's for sure ... this three chord strand is stronger now than it's ever been."
Nick Jonas used the online message to confirm the three brothers would be touring as a group next summer, Billboard.com reported.
"Anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can't break up brothers," the youngest Jonas said. "We are already planning another world tour as the Jonas Brothers next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans."
