LONDON, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- A scheduling conflict has forced Robbie Williams to cancel his planned performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards next week, the pop star's spokesman said.
However, Williams' representative told the BBC the 35-year-old singer still intends to appear on next weekend's edition of "The Jonathan Ross Show."
The BBC did not say what the recording artist will be doing instead of attending the ceremony.
Williams, who recently returned to the music industry after a three-year break, is up for the MTV Europe Music Award for best male artist.
The prizes will be handed out Nov. 5 in Berlin. Katy Perry is serving as host of the show for a second consecutive year.
