George Michael to release new holiday song

LONDON, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- George Michael's spokesman said the British pop star is to release a new holiday single in December.

"December Song" will be the artist's first holiday offering since he and Andrew Ridgeley as Wham! released the classic "Last Christmas" in 1984.

The BBC said "December Song" was made available as a free download for a limited time on Michael's Web site last year, but a remastered version will go on sale Dec. 13.
